Top-Level Seminar ‘Transfer Pricing: Current State of Play and Outlook’ (in English)

During this 3-day seminar on ‘Transfer Pricing: Current State of Play and Outlook’ (in English) you and other transfer pricing and tax specialists will discuss the transfer pricing (TP) implications of a wide range of topical issues of the post-BEPS world.

You will be brought fully up-to-date with all the important developments to help you framing your TP strategy for the future. You can be assured of in-depth discussions with prestigious speakers like Marlies de Ruiter, Prof. Madeleine Merkx, Prof. Maarten de Wilde, Isabel Verlinden, Monique van Herksen and Prof. Raymond Luja. And you will also have the opportunity to engage in discussions with your peers.

This will be an unique opportunity for transfer pricing and tax professionals to meet and exchange experience, knowledge and ideas from different perspectives.

The seminar will be held from Wednesday 7 – Friday 9 April 2021.

Covid-19 update:
EFS has the intention to organize the Top-Level Seminar physically. However if this is not possible because of developments related to Covid-19 we look for alternatives. Under all circumstances the seminar is organized in line with the Covid-19 restrictions imposed by Dutch government.

Key Benefits

  • In-depth, interactive sessions
  • Diversity of participants and lecturers leading to exchange of knowledge and ideas from different perspectives
  • Intensive 3-day programme
  • Max. 25 participants
  • Bridging theory and practice
  • International networking

During the first day of the seminar we will be discussing issues in relation to transfer pricing post-BEPS, including substance, dynamic versus static interpretation of revised TP standards and OECD and UN developments. The recent developments surrounding the tax challenges arising from the digitalisation of the economy will also be discussed. We will provide you with an overview of topical developments relating to exchange of information and transparency in relation to TP and relevant TP court cases.

The second day of the seminar will provide a deep dive into special TP topics, including the transfer pricing aspects of intra-group services and CCAs, financial transactions, intangibles and business restructuring.

The final day of the seminar will focus on some relevant topics you may face in practice. Corporate speakers will discuss transfer pricing issues in practice including operational TP, controversy experience, and the impact of BEPS on TP policy. You will also be updated on the link between TP and indirect taxes. Other topics for discussion will be dispute resolution mechanisms as well as state aid and transfer pricing.

All the sessions will include plenty of opportunity to discuss each of the topics in detail.
We look forward to welcome experienced transfer pricing and tax specialists (see For Whom) from multinationals, tax / TP advisory services, legal practice, the judiciary, government bodies, tax authorities, international organisations and academia.

The seminar will end with a general reflection on the issues presented and some overall conclusions.
