The foundation European Fiscal Studies, a joint venture of the Ecomomic and Law Faculties of the Erasmus University Rotterdam, follows developments in European tax critically, provides guidance on this by opinion formation and organizes conferences and Post-Master courses regadering taxation. Since 1991, the Post-Master Direct Taxes is given, and since 2003 the course Indirect Taxation. From 2007, the Post-Master Customs is provided by EFS. In 2014 the Post-Master Direct Taxes is replaced by the Post-Master International and European Tax Law. The current list of alumni of three Post-Masters has more than 500 tax specialist, working for the government, tax advisory, judiciary and business.
Post-Master International and European Tax Law
The Post-Master discusses various practical issues regarding International and European Tax Law. The first week mainly focusses on the fiscal implications relating entrepreneurship, working and investing across boarders, the second week will concentrate on how multinationals can organize their optimal tax structure with a view to tax minimization and BEPS. The course will be taught entirely or largely in Dutch.
Post-Master in EU Customs Law
The Post-Master provides you with in-depth up-to-date knowledgde about general issues within EU Customs Law and in-depth training in Strategic and Business Issues in Customs. The programme will be entirely in English.
Post-Master Indirect Taxes
It is aimed at gaining in-depth knowledge and understanding of the national and international aspects of the European directives harmonized sales tax. Familiar themes such as entrepreneurship, place of service, deductible and taxable amount are reviewed.The course will be taught entirely or largely in Dutch.
